Innovation Lab Asia may be able to facilitate contact to relevant individuals
C-Camp is a deep-tech innovation hub for Life Science, Pharma, Biochemistry and Greentech. C-Camp provides incubation activities for early stage startups. So far, 20 startups have gone through their program, five of which have scaled to the US. C-Camp can provide advanced facilities and expertise in frugal innovation and product adaptation.
C-Camp has a strong international reputation, and is presently in dialogue for collaboration with DTU and key corporates. C-Camp is presently engaged in startup collaboration projects in Europe and America, including:
- The Indo-US Life sciences innovation hub with QB3 – University of California’s hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in life science, “promote collaborations in scientific research, encourage co-development of innovation led products and push these technologies towards commercialization”. The collaboration has so far resulted in the exchange of 13 US and Indian startups.
- Indo-Brazil Agri Innovation Corridor with Brazilian AgriHub to “foster cross-fertilization of innovations in the field of agriculture… and connect innovations with different stakeholders in agriculture sector including farmers”.
- Judd School of Chemistry at Cambridge on collaboration in entrepreneurship
- And… institutions in Cambridge, Edinborough, Switzerland
C-Camp is located on the lush, green campus of NCBS – The National Centre for Biological Sciences – one of India’s top research institutions for biological research. NCBS is part of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, and funded by the Indian government.
Along with inStem, C-CAMP and NCBS forms part of the Bangalore Bio-Cluster, bringing together fundamental research, translational studies, and technology development.
